After I have been asked multiple times I've set up a Teamspeak server which can be used by all guilds who want.
How? Read the points below:
Need I pay something for using the TS server?
Probably the first question you may want to ask:
No you don't need to pay something to use the server.
The one and only reward I expecting is that you read and accept the rules, that you won't troll and that you respect the admins (and all other users using the server)
Who should I contact to apply for a server?
The best way is to contact me (Noxx) via #florensia-base on euIRCnet.
This IRC-Channel is linked in our IRC-chat aplett, also you are able find it on the same server as all other florensia channels are.
But please read all other points and the rules before you apply for the server because you'll accepting them automatically if you do so.
The application should be either in german or english as long as there are no other admins who understand your native language.
Also it should contain your guildname, the amount of your members and the names of members who should be channeladmins.
May all guilds apply for a channel on this server?
All guilds are allowed to apply for a channel. However the amount of free slots are limited to 1000 slots due to licencing.
If this limit is reached no more guilds will be accepted.
Also the serveradmins got the permission to ban an user or a whole guild from the server with or without any reason.
How is the server organised?
It's just one server. On this server all guilds have an own channel with subchannels if needed.
The guild can arranged their subchannels as they like (see rules).
Channeladmins can let members be privileged also with channeladmin permissions by a serveradmin but they should keep in mind that they cannot revoke the permissions themselves.
All privilege changes, also to register with the server, is done by serveradmins.
All in all the server got a password protection to avoid floodbots or other one-time trolls.
Are guests allowed?
Yes, they are allowed - for the present.
It's allowed to give the password away to guild- or other ingamefriends but keep in mind that you have the responsibility for them.
Depending on whether it will be problematic it could be changed in the future.
Many guilds but only one server? What's about trolling?
Channeladmins can kick trolls from their channel but not out of the server.
Only serveradmins got global kick- and banprivileges.
You got the following possibilities to keep your channel clean of trolls:
- Channelpassword
- Set your channel to moderated and set autovoice to all members
Please report all trolls to #florensia-base on euIRCnet. If there is noone available please record it (sound+video of the client).
General rules
- Use the server as it would be your own - no floods, no spam, no trolls.
- The mainchannel of the guild should contain their name, server and the language of it.
- Music or other "livestreaming" is not permitted.
- The amount and the name of subchannels should be well choosen.
- If you are afk for awhile please use the AFK-channel on the server. If you know you will be longer than one hour away please disconnect from the server.
Offences against the rules could be punished with banning a single user or the whole guild from the server.
All rules can be altered or advanced every time.
